On Episode 8 of the Lone Star Deep Dive Podcast, host Tonya Kleuskens talks with Dr. Darryl Birkenfeld, Deputy Director of Ogallala Commons, "a nonprofit education and leadership organization that reinvigorates our commonwealth to build vibrant Great Plains communities." We discuss his 30+ years of experience with the organization, as well as the recent "Stewarding Our Water Future Conference" held in Amarillo. Before taking the role of Deputy Director, Darryl served as the Executive Director of the organization for over 20 years. He also currently serves as the organizatin's Stewarding Natural Resources Program Coordinator. He lives in Nazareth, Texas with his wife Joann.
