On Episode 10 of the Lone Star Deep Dive Podcast, we'll feature Andrew Millison's recent presentation titled “Practices to Move from Water Scarcity to Water Abundance,”  delivered at the Ogallala Commons "Stewarding Our Water Future" Conference held in March 2024.

Andrew Millison is the founder of Oregon State University’s Permaculture Design program in the College of Agricultural Sciences, where he introduced a revolutionary ecological design system into the mainstream university establishment, educating tens of thousands of students. He serves as Senior Instructor at OSU, where he also travels the world to uncover some of the most successful and inspiring permaculture projects. From the Deccan Plateau in India to the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco in Mexico City, Andrew’s students immerse themselves in these unique and impressive projects and landscapes to reinforce their understanding of the principles of permaculture. His popular YouTube channel has nearly half a million subscribers with tens of millions of views. This is where he documents the most impactful ecological projects on Earth and presents them in both an artistic and technical manner.
